Private Dwelling at Lany Road, Moira

Following an introductory site visit, C3 architects provided the Client with an initial feasibility study detailing the possibilities of converting the existing building into a contemporary family home.

Through detailed and careful consideration of the existing building, C3 Architects produced a design that respects and retains the existing character of the exterior with modest interventions including a standing seam zinc roof whilst contrasting it with a modern contemporary open plan interior.

The design provides generous accommodation including a master bedroom with en suite and changing area, a further 4no. bedrooms en suite, a main bathroom, roof terrace and sun gallery at first floor level. At ground level a formal lounge and family room, private office / study , large open plan living dining kitchen area with integral double garage and utility completing the accommodation.

C3 architects successfully obtained Planning Approval for the Change of Use and Conversion of the Sir William Allen Hall in 2014 and construction is anticipated to commence in Spring 2015.

C3 Architects have been retained by our client to assist through Building Regulation Approvals, Production Information, Tender and On-site Supervision stages of the project.
